Sunday 3rd May 2009: Nemo wins Best In Show and Dog Green Star at the
Irish Pointer Club Breed Championship Show in County Carlow, Ireland.

Our little Nemo was born to us on 28th October 2006 and weighed a healthy 18 ounces. He didn't have many markings except for those on his head and top of his tail...and so far, this has not changed. One thing that has changed though is his height - he has grown so quickly!

Having the advantage of living with his mummy (China), Nemo can more often than not be found curled up asleep with his mum in her bed. He does love his mum and this is so evident to see.

Nemo has had a good show career so far. He has won Bet Puppy In Breed, as well as many good UK class placings, culminating in Challenge Certificate in Belfast in 2010.

He has also been campaigned in Southern Ireland and won many Green Stars and Reserve Green Stars - many with Best of Breed and a some group wins, including a group 1 at Kilarney. These wins mean that Nemo is an Irish Show Champion. He has also won Best in Show at the Irish Pointer Club in 2009.

In Europe, Nemo has done exceptionally well - winning CACs (like our CCs) and CACIBs and has a collection of his own silverware to be proud of. More recently because of wins at the Dortmund and Leeuwarden Centenary Winners Dog Show, Nemo is also an FCI Centenary Show Champion and a Centenary European Winner (with some other titles too). These wins entitle him to take part in the FCI Centenary World Champion of Champions competition in November 2011. Fingers crossed!
