Vespa arrived at Ledgands on 14th May 2011...and yes, she is China's grand daughter and Nemo's daughter! Three generations in the same house - OMG, what have we let ourselves in for? Fiona, Kim, mummy Pandora and auntie Lottie have done a fantastic job of raising her to be a healthy handful ! Her bothers Cooper, Sandy and Oakley all have new fab homes too.

Vespa has no fear - she has already let China, Nemo and Summer know that she is boss. We often find Vespa on top of one of the others and usually has them pinned to the floor having lots of fun with them. If they don't want to play, she has a good bark to encourage them to get out of their lazy beds and play.

She has met the Geese and again is fearless. I found her last week following Freddie across the lawn, only to wait for an opportune moment to grab at his tail feathers. Needless to say, Freddie was having none of that and so Vespa's attempts at goose feather snatching were futile.

Of course she is at that stage where everything has to go into her mouth to see whether it is friend or foe, edible or not. For such a little one, she has some speed as she launches herself in the opposite direction when you try and get her jaws to release anything she has picked up. Her favourite tasty morsel is the goose poo ! Yes of all things!

Vespa loves foraging in the hedges and often comes running out with treasure - usually some rotting grass or some branch she has stolen from one of the hawthorns. Vespa needs no moped - she can make her own speed!
